It is noted that state awards were presented to the military personnel by the Deputy Commander of the Leningrad Military District, Lieutenant General Esedullo Abachev. He personally addressed congratulations to each participant in the operation and highly appreciated their work.
It is clarified that the Russian military was awarded medals “For Courage” and “For Military Distinction.” The award ceremony was held at the units’ positions.
