IN Samara decided to leave under arrest the performer Eduard Charlotte, who publicly destroyed Russian passport and tore the portrait of the president. The TASS agency reported this on Tuesday, April 2, citing a source in the Kirovsky District Court of the city.

It is clarified that they decided to extend the artist’s arrest until April 23. According to Charlotte’s father, the singer has already undergone a psychological and psychiatric examination in Saratov, after which he was taken back to Samara. Let us remember that in February the performer’s parent said that the detainee would be examined for at least a month.

Earlier, lawyers said whether Eduard Charlotte has a chance to avoid criminal punishment if he is declared insane. More about this read the material Public News Service.
