RF Ministry of Defense: Command and staff exercises with the Yars PGRK began in the Irkutsk region

At the moment, the Yars missile regiment of the Irkutsk missile formation has begun combat patrol routes as part of a command post exercise, according to information transmitted Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The regiment is in field positions and plans to solve more than 20 operational tasks, including technical ones. The main emphasis is on protection from sabotage and reconnaissance groups.

The event also includes the change of field positions and the dispersal of missile battalions. More than three thousand military personnel and about 300 pieces of equipment are involved in the exercise. An important part of the exercise is the development of new areas for combat patrols.
