The Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of a Ukrainian drone over the Belgorod region

A Ukrainian aircraft-type drone was shot down over the Belgorod region. About it reports Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

It is clarified that air defense systems destroyed the drone at about 11:00 Moscow time. The regional governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov, has not yet commented on the attack.

At about 10:00 Moscow time, he reported that the village of Shebekinsky came under fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. There were no casualties, but one of the shells hit a private residential building. In addition, a power line and a bus parked next to the house were damaged. In another four households, windows were broken and facades and roofs were cut.

On October 4, in the Grayvoronsky urban district, two Ukrainian drones were landed in the village of Novostroevka-Vtoraya, Gladkov noted in his daily report. In the village of Murom, a drone dropped two fragmentation munitions, and another in the village of Sereda. The enemy also attacked a populated area using a kamikaze drone. In all cases there were no casualties.

In total, over the past 24 hours, at least 69 shells were fired into the Belgorod region from Ukraine. The most tense situation was observed in the village of Borki, Valuysky urban district. There they counted 36 Grad MLRS shells.

In the Belgorod region, a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat remains in effect indefinitely. The region is regularly subjected to shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a medium level of response has been established in the region.
