Governor Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov spoke about the evacuation of 590 children from the Russian border region due to the threat of shelling. A publication with such information appeared in the Telegram channel of the head of the region.
“150 of our children from the Belgorod region are going to the Astrakhan region, and 540 children, boys and girls, are going to the Samara region,” Gladkov shared information with subscribers.
As the governor noted, at first the children were planned for a period of three weeks. However, if the situation does not begin to deteriorate, they will be placed in neighboring regions until the end of the school year. They will receive housing, as well as places in educational institutions that operate in the Samara and Astrakhan regions.
