Bach: The IOC asked Ukrainians to follow the words of Russians on the Internet

President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Thomas Bach, during a conversation with pranksters Vovan (Vladimir Kuznetsov) and Lexus (Aleksey Stolyarov), shared data on tracking statements of Russian citizens in the public field. The corresponding quotes from the head of the organization were published in the pranksters’ Telegram channel.

Bach said that the organization had created a special commission whose task was to monitor the statements of athletes representing Russian Federationin the media and the Internet.

“We also offered to the Ukrainian side and not only offered, but also asked to provide us with their information about the behavior of such athletes or officials,” the IOC head emphasized. He also noted that athletes who spoke out in support of Russia will not have the opportunity to compete at the Olympics.

He urged people not to compare, for example, the equestrian sport of dressage with weightlifting, where this could be relevant.
