The UAE authorities fined Maxim Galkin* 2.4 million rubles for anti-Russian statements at concerts. The decision was commented on by producer Pavel Rudchenko.
In a conversation with the NEWS.ru portal, he noted that in this way the UAE supported Russia and President Vladimir Putin. Rudchenko noted that the state shows friendliness, including towards public figures.
“The Arabs played along with us, they played along precisely because of solidarity with the Russian Federation, they want to see a true friend in Russia,” the producer said.
Previously Public News Service reported, that not only Maxim Galkin* was punished for criticizing Russia at concerts in the UAE. The Ukrainian artist Andrei Danilko, performing under the pseudonym Verka Serduchka, stepped on the same rake. He was permanently banned from entering the country.
