VTB Bank will temporarily stop issuing IT mortgages from April 3 due to the exhaustion of program limits. TASS reports this.
The bank’s press service noted that VTB is currently awaiting a government decision regarding the future development of IT mortgages and plans to participate in the new distribution of funds when funding increases.
VTB also stated that the program “has proven itself as an effective tool for targeted support for information technology workers.”
According to the organization, since its launch, about 11 thousand loans have been issued for a total amount of approximately 108 billion rubles by program. VTB Bank’s limit on it is 108.973 billion rubles.
