Two defendants in the Crocus case face life imprisonment

Two defendants in the case of a terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall have been charged with terrorism and face life imprisonment. The press service of the Basmanny Court reports this Moscow reported to RIA Novosti.

It is alleged that two defendants in the case – Mirzoev Dalerjon Barotovich and Rachabalizoda Saidakrami Murodali – have been charged with committing a terrorist attack that resulted in the death of a person as part of an organized group (clause B of part 3 of article 205 of the criminal code Russian Federation).

The maximum punishment under this article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation is life imprisonment. The Basmanny Court today, March 24, will also consider investigators’ requests to arrest the defendants.

Earlier, near the Crocus City Hall, which was burned down as a result of the terrorist attack, an action was held in memory of the victims of the terrorist attack – several hundred people honored the memory of the victims with a minute of silence.
