Armenia does not intend to join the North Atlantic Alliance in the near future, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said. According to him, the country already has cooperation with the organization.
“Armenia is participating in a peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan and is also increasing its presence in Kosovo. This form of cooperation suits us at this stage, so the country does not plan to join NATO,” he said in an interview with TN TV channel.
Mirzoyan also noted that Armenia’s main allies are the United States and the European Union.
