Sberbank announced the complete write-off of all loans from clients who died as a result of military or terrorist actions in border areas Russiaas reported by the bank’s press service.

“Sberbank completely writes off all types of loans in the event of the death of our clients from military or terrorist actions in border areas,” company representatives explained.

As noted in the press service, since 2019 the bank has had a program to support borrowers affected by emergency situations, and from 2022 this program will include clients living in border areas, as well as those who suffered or died as a result of armed conflicts .
