Film director and screenwriter Karen Shakhnazarov refused to work with actors who betrayed Russia. With this statement he supported his colleague, People’s Artist of the RSFSR Nikita Mikhalkov.
Shakhnazarov noted that he agreed with Mikhalkov. But the reason for the actor’s departure from the country is important to him.
“There are traitors who actively oppose their country. But there are some other reasons when a person sits and is silent, “I don’t see anything bad in working with these artists,” the Paragraph publication quoted him as saying.
In his films, Shakhnazarov does not want to see actors who express their anti-Russian position abroad.
