Poland modernizes the border with Belarus due to the large number of illegal border crossings. Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration of Poland Czeslaw Mroczek stated this in the Sejm of Poland.
“Due to the continued illegal border crossings by migrants, despite the measures taken, it was decided to begin work to improve the fence,” the politician said.
According to him, the Polish authorities are going to eliminate all the shortcomings of the fence – both physical and electronic. Mroczek noted that the current state of the border fencing is not reliable enough and needs to be improved.
