An attempt was made to blind the pilots of a Russian plane flying from Ulyanovsk to Vnukovo with a laser as they approached Moscow. The relevant information is shared by the Aviaincident Telegram channel.
According to the channel, an emergency situation occurred when the plane was at an altitude of about 900 meters – unknown persons directed a laser beam at the cockpit.
The pilots explained that the light source came from the Yasenevo district of Moscow. It is clarified that no one was injured as a result of the incident, and the landing took place safely.
A similar situation occurred with crew members airplane, flying from Makhachkala to Moscow. It is noted that there were passengers on board the plane at the time of the incident.
As a result, the plane landed at Sheremetyevo Airport. None of the passengers or crew members were injured.
