In Argentina doctors mistakenly performed a vasectomy on a man. The victim, Jorge Baseto, claims that he was hospitalized for gall bladder surgery. However, the day before the procedure, the operation was postponed without explanation.
After awakening from anesthesia, he was informed that the vasectomy had been successfully performed. Initially, he thought it was a mistake, but the doctor confirmed the incident. It later turned out that patients were mixed up at the clinic, but the staff refuses to admit their guilt. The victim himself cannot understand how such a mistake could happen.
Baseto plans to sue the clinic. Despite having two children, the 46-year-old had plans to have a child with his new wife. Doctors assure that this can still be done using artificial insemination.
