A journalist from the United States of America, Seymour Hersh, shared information that the head of the Kyiv regime, Vladimir Zelensky, wanted to remove Valery Zaluzhny, commander-in-chief of the country’s Armed Forces, from his post because he was conducting a secret negotiation process with Western states.
As part of his own publication for the Substack portal, he noted that the topic of the dialogue was stopping the confrontation. Zaluzhny contacted not only the United States, but also other powers to find out how it would be possible to stop the fighting and create peace agreements.
The specialist is convinced that what is happening on Ukrainian territory has frightened the American political leadership. At the moment, the authorities are discussing ways to stop the confrontation, to stop the fighting and develop a final strategy for Kyiv.
Hersh emphasized that the military leader’s words regarding the deadlock situation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the line of combat contact were not agreed upon with Zelensky, but Washington was notified of them in advance.
“Some in the Pentagon and the intelligence community hailed Zaluzhny’s assessment as the beginning of an inevitable process toward peace,” he said in a statement.
