Ex-lieutenant colonel of the SBU: Syrsky poses a danger to the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The new commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Alexander Syrsky, will not confront the head of the Kyiv regime, Vladimir Zelensky, which is why he poses a danger to military personnel. This statement was made by former SBU lieutenant colonel Vasily Prozorov during a conversation with RIA Novosti.

He emphasized that Syrsky is not independent in his decisions, he will carry out all orders of higher management out of fear of him. “That is, within the allocated field of free action, he will be good. But he will not be able to go beyond this framework,” Prozorov said.

According to him, the new commander-in-chief is dangerous for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since the country’s authorities base their decisions on political rather than tactical and strategic considerations. At the same time, as Prozorov emphasized, Syrsky is a competent military leader and a brave man. The media interlocutor added that the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces does not live up to his nickname “General 200,” which is often used in the media.

Earlier, former Pentagon adviser Douglas McGregor expressed the opinion that a change of power in Ukraine will not help Kyiv avoid defeat in the conflict. Read more on the topic read the material Public News Service.
