Kuznetsov called the move to Carolina “last chance”

Evgeny Kuznetsov, a Russian forward for the National Hockey League (NHL) Carolina Hurricanes, commented on his move from Washington to a club from North Carolina. His words are reported by the Hurricanes’ official website.

According to him, “Carolina” is his “last chance” in a professional career. Kuznetsov emphasized that he regrets that he left Washington in this way – being put up for the waiver draft, but “that’s life.”

“I never ran from my past mistakes and I never regretted them. These are the moments in life from which you learn. Like I said, this is my last opportunity, my last chance. Everything is within my power. <...> I don’t regret anything in my life, I will remember this time for the rest of my life, there were good and bad moments,” the hockey player said.

Let us remind you that earlier it became known that Evgeny Kuznetsov moved from Washington to Carolina. The team already has three hockey players from Russia: goalkeeper Pyotr Kochetkov, defenseman Dmitry Orlov and forward Andrei Svechnikov. Read more about this in material Public News Service.
