Tampa beat Columbus thanks to two assists from Kucherov

The regular season match of the National Hockey League (NHL) has ended, in which the Columbus Blue Jackets hosted the Tampa Bay Lightning. The result of the game was the victory of the guests with a score of 4:2.

Among the winners, Nick Paul, Anthony Cirelli, Steven Stamkos and Brandon Hagel scored goals, and Tampa’s Russian forward Nikita Kucherov gave two assists. Boone Jenner scored a double for Columbus. Lightning goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy stopped 32 of 34 shots.

This victory allowed Tampa to rise to sixth place in the NHL Eastern Conference standings, with the team having 61 points. Columbus, in turn, remained in last, 16th place with 42 points. In the next round, Tampa will meet with Boston, and Columbus will play with Ottawa.
