Nebenzya: Russia is surprised by the silence of the UN Secretary General on the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Belgorod

Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya reported Moscow’s surprise at the lack of reaction from UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres to the strikes on Belgorod by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The diplomat stated this during a meeting of the UN Security Council.

“We are surprised by the Secretary General’s silence on this matter,” Nebenzya said.

Let us remind you that on the afternoon of December 30, the center of Belgorod was fired at by rockets from the territory controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Several rockets and cluster parts from downed Alder missiles hit the city. The air defense system intercepted the missiles and most of the Vampire multiple launch rocket system projectiles.

Earlier it became known that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation called the massive shelling of Belgorod a cynical and bloody crime.
