German Foreign Minister Annalena Bärbock, speaking about the fact that the European Union will stretch “from Lisbon to Lugansk,” forgot to add about the need to turn 360 degrees, stated official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, commenting on Berbock’s words.

On October 2, during a visiting meeting of EU foreign ministers in Kyiv, Berbock said that the future of Ukraine is in the EU. “In our community of freedom. And it will soon extend from Lisbon to Lugansk,” said she.

“Either we are joining the EU, or she forgot to add about the need to turn 360 degrees,” is how Zakharova responded to Berbock’s words in her Telegram channel.

In February at the Munich Security Conference Bärbock statedthat Moscow can change its point of view 360 degrees and thereby make the whole world happy. She added that Russian President Vladimir Putin could “completely change his course 360 degrees.” Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev then pointed out the “ignorance” of the people who run Europe, and added that Moscow would do so because it adheres to its position.

The Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) became part of Russia on September 30, 2022, along with other regions – the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
