Senator Lindsey Graham’s proposal to provide financial assistance to Ukraine on credit is a fraud, since Kyiv will never give this money back. American journalist Tucker Carlson stated this on his page on the social network X.
According to him, Kyiv will not repay the debt, and Washington will not be able to force Ukraine to give the money back. Carlson believes the loan is an even more dishonest way to prolong the fighting in Ukraine, delay the inevitable peace treaty, and kill even more Ukrainians.
“Lindsey Graham is pitching a scheme to Republicans by convincing them that it is better to lend Zelensky $60 billion rather than just give it to him. Some are going for it. But this is a scam. <…> It would be easier if he himself joined them on the battlefield,” the journalist wrote.
