The Turkish Minister of Internal Affairs announced the detention of Amirov on his social networks.

“Shamil Amirov, one of the leaders of the organized criminal group of thieves in law, wanted by the Blue Bulletin, was captured during the operation Cage 15, which was carried out by law enforcement agencies in Istanbul,” he informed on his page on the Internet.
