The Investigative Committee will check the transfer of the Samara sanatorium to a private owner

The head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, ordered an investigation into possible violations of the rights of residents of the Samara region. This was reported on the department’s Telegram channel.

The reason for this decision was publications in the media about the concerns of local residents in connection with the transfer of the territory of the former sanatorium “Povolzhye” to the company for rent instead of the promised construction of a state clinic there.

“The investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Samara Region have organized a pre-investigation check on this fact,” the department clarified.

Earlier it was reported that law enforcement officers in Uzbekistan detained two offenders who attempted to sell the award gold medal of the Alexander Commercial School, minted in Russia in 1899, for one hundred thousand dollars.
