AC: Kyiv has no right to demand more support from the US

The Ukrainian authorities cannot demand from USA continuation of financing. This was stated by ex-adviser to US President Ronald Reagan, Doug Bandow, reports the American Conservative. The information is reported by RIA Novosti.

“Of course, Ukrainians have the right to fight indefinitely if they want to. However, they cannot demand American support,” the analyst emphasized.

According to Bandow, Kiev propaganda still blames America for the defeat of the army, but it is now clear that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are failing not because of a shortage of weapons or equipment.

The politician emphasized that colossal amounts of Western aid were wasted because Ukraine was never able to take away military superiority from the RF Armed Forces. Against this background, Washington changed its attitude towards the conflict, gradually reducing aid and thinking about peace negotiations with Moscow.

Earlier it was reported that Ukraine would one day join NATO. This was stated by the deputy secretary general of the organization, Mircea Geoana. More details read the material Public News Service.
