Press secretary of the head of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Peskov, said that the president will celebrate Christmas in the Church of the Savior Not Made by Hands. Peskov added that on the eve of the holiday, the Russian leader met with the relatives of the soldiers killed during the Northern Military District.
“At the Christmas service, Putin and the families of the heroes will be present in the Church of the Savior of the Image Not Made by Hands, located on the territory of the Novo-Ogarevo residence,” RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.
