Japanese manufacturer Fujitsu has launched the liquidation of its Russian business

Japanese electronics manufacturer Fujitsu has launched the process of liquidating its Russian business, according to data from the Rusprofile service.

The liquidation process of Fujitsu Technology Solutions was launched in August 2023 and is expected to be completed in August 2024.

For the liquidation of a Russian legal entity paid attention RBC. Fujitsu did not announce its decision to completely withdraw from Russia, but after the start of a special operation in Ukraine, the company suspended direct supplies of products and services.

The Russian legal entity of the company was registered in 2003. 99% of it belongs to the Dutch Fujitsu Technology Solutions BV, 1% is registered to the German Fujitsu Technology Solutions GMBH. In 2022, the revenue of the Russian structure amounted to 675 million rubles, which is 24% lower than the results of the previous year. The company’s loss amounted to 119 million rubles, while a year earlier it made a profit of 63 million rubles. Fujitsu Technology Solutions specialized in Russia in the sale of laptops, computers and components, as well as complex IT solutions.
