The court received a criminal case regarding the preparation by a neo-Nazi group of the murder of journalist Vladimir Solovyov. The press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia shares the relevant information.
The department’s Telegram channel reports that an indictment in a criminal case against several individuals was approved. The case was sent for consideration to the 2nd Western District Military Court.
According to investigators, one of the participants created a cell of a neo-Nazi terrorist group back in 2021.
Then it turned out that no later than April 4, 2022, representatives of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine approached him with a proposal to “liquidate” Vladimir Solovv for financial reward.
The participants in the criminal conspiracy planned to install an improvised explosive device on the body of Solovyov’s car and detonate it. They failed to implement the plan because their actions were stopped by law enforcement officers.
