The canceled New Year’s fireworks can be replaced with firecrackers and sparklers, says Svetlana Bessarab, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans’ Affairs. In a conversation with Lenta.ru, she shared her idea, explaining that the safety of people is the main priority.
Svetlana Bessarab emphasized that fireworks were canceled precisely in the interests of people and their safety. Her goal is for the New Year to be bright, cheerful and not subject to any events.
“I think we will survive the New Year without fireworks. At least we will be sure that we are provided with security,” says Bessarab.
Earlier it became known that Gingerbread was an integral part of every major exhibition in the country and Russian expositions abroad. But over time, this sweetness became a thing of the past.
