Producing director Andrei Sychev recalled working with musician Alexander Gradsky on the show “The Voice”. In an interview with the program “Factory with Yana Churikova,” he said that the composer hated production numbers and often shouted at the film crew if he didn’t like the result.

“Gradsky, he screamed and screamed so much about our television activities there to the whole hall that we ruined all television activities, the pop world with our entertainment,” Sychev recalled.

The director noted that Gradsky always focused on the skill of performance, and not on show effects. In this regard, the musician, in particular, could ask to remove the graphics on the screens. Sychev concluded that the late artist hated everything connected with “embellishment.”
