Reuters: The EU collected 480 thousand shells for Kyiv instead of the promised million

The European Union was able to collect only 480 thousand ammunition for the Kyiv regime instead of the promised million by March 2024. This information is shared by Reuters, citing its own sources.

Early last month, a high-ranking European source told the media that EU states had so far delivered three hundred thousand shells out of a planned million to Kyiv. The head of the German Ministry of Defense, Boris Pistorius, reported that the EU would not be able to fulfill its promise to supply a million ammunition by March next year.

Reuters draws attention to data on the volume of orders from the European Defense Agency as part of the scheme to support the Kyiv regime and for its own needs. At the end of September it was reported that seven countries had joined the scheme, including Luxembourg, Lithuania and Denmark. According to agency sources, the total volume of these orders does not exceed 60 thousand ammunition.

It was previously reported that American leader Joe Biden, during his speech on Wednesday, December 6, intends to announce the allocation of additional assistance to the Kyiv regime. Read more on the topic read the material Public News Service.
