According to the head of the organization, all attempts to resume this deal will result in failure – it no longer works within the framework of the JCPOA. In this regard, Grossi called for the creation of an entirely new scheme.
“It is necessary to recreate the system of dialogue with Tehran… Attention… may, of course, be focused on something else. But this does not solve the problems, but makes them more acute in the sense that there is a feeling of a certain indifference … People may not pay attention to Iran’s nuclear ambitions, but the problem exists,” he expressed his opinion on this issue.
The head of the IAEA called for the resumption of negotiations between the West and Tehran. He stressed that it is wrong for world powers to not pay attention to Iranian nuclear ambitions, since they could bring problems in the future.
