Pittsburgh lost to Los Angeles in the NHL match dedicated to Jaromir Jagr

The regular season match of the National Hockey League (NHL), in which the Pittsburgh Penguins hosted the Los Angeles Kings, has ended. The result of the game was the victory of the guests with a score of 2:1.

Before the match, a ceremony was held at the stadium in Pittsburgh to raise a banner with the name of the great Czech hockey player Jaromir Jagr, who played for the Penguins from 1990 to 2001 and won two Stanley Cups with this club. Now 52-year-old Jagr plays for the Czech club Kladno. During the game, Sidney Crosby gave Pittsburgh the lead, and Los Angeles’ Adrian Kempe responded with a double.

This victory allowed Los Angeles to secure seventh place in the NHL Western Conference standings with 64 points. Pittsburgh has 9 points less and is 12th in the East. In the next round, Pittsburgh will meet with the New York Islanders, and Los Angeles will play with Columbus.
