“As a result of the fire, his two daughters, 6 and 9 years old, died from the flame and poisoning by combustion products,” the Investigative Committee said in a statement.
The arsonist himself and his wife were taken to a medical facility. Their condition is assessed as serious. In connection with the incident, a criminal case was opened for the murder of two children.
