Russian singer SHAMAN gave a concert on March 8 in a women’s penal colony in the Moscow region. However, as criminologist Mikhail Ignatov noted, the artist’s songs are unlikely to be heard in a men’s correctional colony.
The expert explained that musicians are not prohibited from giving concerts in men’s colonies, but representatives of chanson and art songs mainly perform there. Ignatov stated this in an interview with NEWS.ru.
