Actor Mamaev, who returned from the Northern Military District, was not allowed on air because of a baseball cap with the flag of the Russian Federation

Russian actor Mikhail Mamaev, who recently returned from a special operation zone, was refused to air the show “Hello, Andrey!” because of a baseball cap with the Russian flag. The artist spoke about the incident in his Telegram channel.

According to Mamaev, he returned from the front specifically to film the program. He was wearing a baseball cap with a Russian flag on it.

“They asked me to take it off, <...> I categorically refused. At the same time, they asked me why it was so important for me to wear a baseball cap with a flag,” the artist noted.

The actor asked the show director why he had to take off his headdress. As the SVO participant clarified, he was given an unclear answer. Allegedly, a similar demand was made by the operator.

Mamaev did not like this attitude from one of the main TV channels in the country. On the front line, the military is literally “tearing its veins,” and some federal media are avoiding the topic of a special military operation, he emphasized.

The artist added that the country’s flag should not confuse anyone. If something like this happens, it’s bad.

Earlier it became known that Yegor Beroev’s colleagues and friends turned their backs on the actor for openly supporting the SVO. More about this read the material Public News Service.
