Over the past 24 hours, on Ukrainian territory, where a special military operation (SVO) is being carried out, Russian air defense systems managed to shoot down 30 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Representatives of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation shared the relevant information with reporters on Monday, December 4.
Also, representatives of the Russian defense department drew attention to the fact that the drones launched by the Ukrainian military were shot down over territories close to the settlements of Novovodyanoye and Lisichansk in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), Peski, Spornoe and Aleksandrovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), New Zbruevka, Kherson region and Tokmak, Zaporozhye region.
In addition, ministry officials said that through the use of air defense systems, they managed to shoot down a rocket from the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system.
