A Lvov court sentenced journalist Yulia Vityazeva to 11 years in prison in absentia.

The Galitsky District Court of Lviv sentenced Russian journalist and blogger Yulia Lozanova, known under the pseudonym Yulia Vityazeva, to 11 years in prison and confiscation of property. TASS writes about this.

The indictment against Lozanova refers to “collaboration with Russia and justifying Moscow’s actions.” The basis for such accusations was her Odessa origin, despite the fact that she moved to Moscow back in 2015 and received Russian citizenship in 2020.

In January of this year, Yulia Lozanova was included in the sanctions list of the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council.
