The Russian Foreign Ministry said Moscow is still making efforts to urgently establish a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. This was stated on the website of the country’s foreign ministry.
It is clarified that we are talking about efforts undertaken by the state at the sites of the Security Council and the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN).
“Russia continues to make efforts, primarily at the Security Council and UN General Assembly, to urgently establish a sustainable ceasefire,” the publication says.
The Foreign Ministry also called for establishing unhindered humanitarian access and restoring the political horizon on a two-state basis as part of the Palestinian-Israeli settlement.
