State Duma deputy Sultan Khamzaev will send requests to the FSB of the Russian Federation and the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation to check the work of Anatoly Chubais at RAO UES of Russia for the possible withdrawal of capital from the country. Khamzaev called Chubais “a political allergen for society.” He recalled that the former general director of Rusnano had previously left Russia and is now publicly showing loyalty to Israel in the war by helping to deliver humanitarian aid. According to the deputy, the behavior of an ex-official of this rank constitutes high treason.
In addition, Chubais’ sources of income raise questions, through which the former official can travel around the world and provide humanitarian assistance, Khamzaev added.
In March 2022, it became known that Chubais resigned from the post of special presidential representative, which he had held since December 2020, and left Russia.
