“Today, it remains possible to leave Israel, including on Russian scheduled flights and flights of other companies. We strongly recommend that Russian citizens use it,” the embassy said in a statement.
The Russian side continues to monitor the situation with flights from the airport in Tel Aviv, the diplomatic mission emphasized. They added that they promptly receive information related to the verification of statements about Russian citizens with whom contact has been lost in Israel.
Earlier today at the Russian Embassy statedthat the number of Russians killed as a result of the Hamas attack on Israel continues to grow. The number of victims currently known has not been specified. As of October 12, four Russian citizens were killed, reported at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The embassy added that 12 people are still missing.
October 11 Red Wings airline reported, which will increase the number of flights from Israel due to increased demand from Russians wishing to leave the country amid the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. They clarified that from October 11 to October 16, the airline will operate a daily additional “export” flight to Moscow (Zhukovsky airport) with a technical stop in Makhachkala.
Russian airlines Azimut and Red Wings continue to operate flights to Israel. The latter, after the attack on Israel, reported the cancellation and rescheduling of a number of flights, but on October 9 the carrier statedwhich resumes regular flights.
