The Pentagon has not confirmed information about a cyber attack on a ship in Baltimore

Deputy Pentagon press secretary Sabrina Singh could not confirm information about a possible cyberattack on the computer systems of the ship that crashed into a bridge in Baltimore, Maryland. TASS reports this.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, March 26. The bridge collapsed after a collision with a ship flying the Singapore flag.

“Unfortunately, I have nothing for you on this matter. I have seen some such messages, but I cannot confirm them,” the news agency quotes a comment from a representative of the Ministry of Defense USA.

She did not provide any other comments on this matter.

Earlier it was reported that there were 22 people on board the Dali container ship that collided with a bridge in Baltimore, Maryland. Information about the crew composition was confirmed by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, since the ship was registered in this country.
