The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine is preparing a “Plan B” in case of delay in assistance from Washington. RBC-Ukraine reports this.
The publication’s material indicates that Kyiv has already maximized the attraction of funds in the domestic debt market and has begun to actively work with the G7 countries.
The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine also emphasized the following: “The Japanese government continues to actively help. This is our plan B.”
The department admitted that Kyiv is counting on a positive decision on funding from the United States. As the Ministry of Finance clarified, American Treasury representatives assured the Ukrainian side that a solution to this issue would be found.
According to the US Department of Defense, Washington has provided military assistance to the Kyiv regime since the beginning of the Ukrainian conflict in the amount of over $69 billion.
