Russian air defense (air defense) systems on the morning of October 14 destroyed two Ukrainian drones over the Black Sea near the coast of the Krasnodar Territory. About it reported press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
“On October 14, at about 7:10 Moscow time, another attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack using a UAV on targets on the territory of the Russian Federation was stopped,” the defense department said in a statement.
The head of Sochi Alexey Kopaygorodsky in his Telegram channel clarifiedthat the air defense system on duty worked in the city. He also said that as a result of the incident there were no casualties or destruction, and the airport and all resort systems were operating normally.
“The situation is under the control of the operational headquarters. Thanks to our entire power unit. There is no threat to the life and health of residents and guests; everything is calm at the resort,” he wrote.
On October 10, Russian air defense systems detected and destroyed a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle 10 km from the southwestern coast of Crimea. Prior to this, a naval aviation helicopter of the Russian Black Sea Fleet destroyed an unmanned boat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, moving in the direction of the peninsula. In the Krasnodar Territory, a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat remains in effect indefinitely. A similar regime has been established in other entities bordering Ukraine.
