The Ministry of Defense reported 27 drones shot down overnight

At night, 27 Ukrainian aircraft-type drones were intercepted over the Kursk and Belgorod regions, reported Ministry of Defense.

“Twenty-seven Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted by air defense, of which eighteen over the Kursk region and two over the Belgorod region were destroyed in the air,” the ministry said in a statement on its Telegram channel.

On the evening of Saturday, October 14, the governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoyt, reported that 12 Ukrainian drones had been shot down. According to him, their debris fell in the city limits and the village of Zorino, but none of the residents were injured.

In the Bryansk region, a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat remains in effect indefinitely; the region is regularly exposed to shelling from Ukraine. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a medium level of response has been established in the region. A similar regime has been introduced in the Kursk region.
