The leaders of the countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization signed 15 documents following the summit. BelTA shares the relevant information.
Among other things, a declaration of the Collective Security Council was approved, which emphasizes the basic principles of the association’s work. The document also provides the position of the CSTO regarding current issues of international security.
On Thursday, November 22, the CSTO summit was held in Minsk.
The Collective Security Treaty Organization unites Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan. There were no representatives of Yerevan at the summit.
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko spoke about the absence of the Armenian side at the CSTO summit in Minsk. Lukashenko called on Yerevan not to stage demarches.
