The Kaliningrad region will present its films at the exhibition “Russia”

The “Russia” exhibition will host a cinema day in the Kaliningrad region, which will offer viewers a unique opportunity to communicate with famous Russian actors Denis Shvedov and Ekaterina Klimova, as well as enjoy watching the film “Nuremberg” and the TV series “Under the Laws of Martial Time”. The Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation reports this.

It is important to note that everyone will be able to attend film screenings after pre-registration, while registration is not required for creative meetings. The pavilion of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation “Our Culture” will bring together stars of Russian cinema and TV series, which were filmed in the Kaliningrad region.

Guests of the Russia event will be able to enjoy free creative meetings with actors and watching films and TV series filmed in this region. Among the actors with whom viewers will be able to communicate are Denis Shvedov, Igor Petrenko, Ekaterina Klimova and Svetlana Chuikina. In addition, the series “According to the Laws of Wartime” will be presented, a presentation of the second season of the series “Offline”, as well as screenings of the film “You Can’t Cry” and the historical blockbuster “Nuremberg”.

In 2017, the Kaliningrad Region Film Commission became one of the first to join the program for paying rebates to film producers. A rebate is a subsidy that allows film companies to receive partial reimbursement of the costs of filming in a certain region of Russia. In the Kaliningrad region, film producers have the opportunity to receive from 20 to 40 percent of the rebate.
