The Investigative Committee warned about the involvement of teenagers in sabotage activities

The head of the Western Interregional Transport Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Pavel Vymenets, spoke in an interview with TASS about cases of Russian teenagers being involved in sabotage activities.

We are talking, in particular, about arson of relay cabinets on the railway. According to a representative of the Investigative Committee, children do not realize what responsibility such a crime entails. In their opinion, they are participating in some kind of “quest” for which they can receive a bonus.

According to Vymenets, attackers interested in sabotage promise a reward of 10-15 thousand rubles for such sabotage through the Telegram messenger.

“Children don’t understand the public danger, for them this is a kind of quest, some do it purely for financial reasons,” the news agency quotes Vymenets.

He clarified that since the beginning of 2023, six criminal cases have been opened involving minors. Two of us have been sent to court.

Earlier it was reported that Ruslan Sidiki, who was arrested for blowing up a railway and attempting to carry out an attack on the Diaghilevo military airfield in Ryazan, planned to carry out a new terrorist attack in December last year.
