The head of the Norwegian defense department, Bjorn Arild Gramm, appealed to the government to begin preparations for a possible confrontation with the Russian Federation, which could begin after the end of the battles in Ukraine.
During a dialogue with journalists from the online publication Verdens Gang, the official emphasized that the country’s armed forces should begin training in order to be able to repel attacks by the Russian Federation together with other powers of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. He explained this by saying that Moscow does not plan to carry out democratization and will not become like other European states.
Gramm expressed his belief that because of this, the Russian Federation is able to change its plans due to the fact that the Finnish and Swedish authorities have joined the alliance.
“We must be prepared for the possibility that Russia may reassess its plans and where it deploys its forces in response to the membership of Finland and Sweden in NATO,” he said in a statement.
Let us recall that the Human Rights Commissioner in the Russian Federation, Tatyana Moskalkova, shared information that the leadership of the Kyiv regime ignored Moscow when it requested information about the incident on board the Il-76, which was transporting captured militants of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
