FSB officers detained a resident of Vladivostok who was transmitting data about Russian military installations in the region to Ukrainian intelligence. This was reported by the FSB press service, transmits Interfax.
The detainee independently established contacts with representatives of the Ukrainian special services and offered them his services. On the instructions of his curators, he collected information about the objects of the military-industrial complex (MIC) of the Primorsky Territory and transferred them to the Ukrainian side. At the same time, the FSB emphasized, he realized that this data could be used against Russia’s national security.
A criminal case has been initiated against the detainee under the article on treason (Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The maximum penalty under this article is life imprisonment. The man has been arrested.
On October 16, on suspicion of treason, she was detained resident of the Transbaikal region. According to the FSB, the woman was collecting information about the movements of Russian military personnel who were supposed to go to the special operation zone, and passed it on to the Ukrainian special services. A criminal case was also opened against her under Art. 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
